Buni Assures Support To Security Agencies

The Executive Governor of Yobe State Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON COMN, today received in audience the Acting Commander 

SECTOR 2 (Joint Task Force ( Northeast )  Operation HADIN Kai, Brigadier General BMG Martins. 

Gov. Buni assured the Acting Commander of support from the government and people of Yobe state for peace and security to reign across the state. 

In a statement issued by Mamman Mohammed

DG Press and Media Affairs to Yobe Governor, that, Buni said "The state government is committed to working with the security agencies for us to have a lasting peace and security across the state. 

He expressed confidence in the capacity of the Acting Commander assuring him of the government and people's support and cooperation. 

Earlier, the Acting Commander solicited for support from the people of the state. 

"We are committee to instituting peace and security in the state and the entire region for the people to live in peace and pursue their legal means of livelihood" Gen. Martins said.

Similarly, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Security Affairs, Brig. Gen. Dahiru Abdulsalam, handed over an award presented to Governor Buni for his contributions to Peace Building and development in Yobe state.
