Nigerian Army Conducts End Of The Year West African Social Activities

Sector 2 joint task force command (North east) Nigerian Army, Operation Hadin Kai conducted end of the year west African Social activities (WASA) at 27 August Stadium in damaturu the state capital on Saturday to commemorate the endurance of it's personnel.

Governor Mai Mala Buni represented by the commissioner of Wealth Creation and Employment Aji Yarima Bularafa expresses his delight as he has opportune to meet the troops of Operation HADIN KAI who are making enormous sacrifices in securing our noble state and other parts of the North East.
The governor also states that since the inception of his administration, he is determined to support security agencies to tackle the menace of Boko Haram insurgents.

At his welcome address, Major General MCE Ejike, said he is honoured by acknowledging there invitation for the WASA occasion, where the rich traditions and diverse cultures of the Nigerian Army troops displayed.

The WASA is an avenue to get together with families, showcase cultural heritage and to promote peaceful co-existence among the troops, their families and friends generally under a non-conflict but a social and more relaxed atmosphere away from the noise of battle.

Series of cultural event such Kanuri, Ebira, Igbo, Yoruba dances were conducted as long as traditional dishes were served.
