Yobe to renovate NUJ correspondent offices, Chalet

The Yobe state government is set to renovate abandoned chalet and correspondent offices at the NUJ secretariat Damaturu, as part of the welfare and strength to the journalists in the state.
These was disclose by the NUJ Chairman, Yobe state Council, Comrade Rajab Mohammed Ismail during a visit by the team of engineers to assess the volume of the dilapidated structure that is about to kick start by Gwaram Engineering Company.
Comrade Rajab stated that the chalet will be use for visitors lodging while the offices will be use by correspondents and women Journalist (NAWOJ) for the ease and efficient work.
The Chairman also thanked Governor Mai Mala Buni for his tireless effort to the journalist welfare for efficiency in dessiminating educative and activities of the state to the entire populace.
He therefore, encourage the journalist to be up and doing in there routine job to deciminate factual and accurate report.
He then call on the government Head of MDas and Ministries to give maximum cooperation to the journalist in other to have intensive information for the desimination.
