Buni emerged Chairman of Lake Chad Governors' Forum

The third day of the ongoing Lake Chad Basin Governors' Forum today discussed the menace of drug abuse and trafficking across the Lake Chad Region.

After the sessions, Governor Mai Mala Buni was declared as the Chairman of the Lake Basin Governors' Forum for the next 2 years.

The Governor read his acceptance speech and there after the Governor of Diffa, Brig Gen, Mohammadou Ibrahim Bagadoma read the communique compiled at the end of the meeting.
