Gov. Buni Meets Security Agencies Ahead Of Presidential Visit To Damaturu

His Excellency the Executive Governor of Yobe state, Hon Mai Mala Buni CON ( Chiroman Gujba) has on  Wednesday-17th July- .2024 summoned head of security agencies in the state ahead of President Tinubu's visit to Damaturu.

The meeting according to the Governor, was to sustain collaboration with other stakeholders to ensure that  the August visiting is  hitch free  and peaceful.

In a statement signed by Hussaini Mai Sule, Press secretary to Yobe state Deputy Governor, said that, the Governor was represented by his Deputy, His Excellency Hon Idi Barde Gubana (Wazirin Fune) who   expressed confidence that the occasion would be conducted in a peaceful manner  through synergy with the security agencies and stakeholders in the  state.

He Commended  the security agencies for their effort in ensuring peace,law and order in the state.

During the visit, the president will inaugurate the mega agricultural empowerment initiative to revitalise agricultural sector and boost  food production in the state.

Shortly after the meeting,the commissioner of police Yobe state command,Ahmad Garba  briefed newsmen  on the outcome of the meeting, he explained that the security operatives would be deployed to provide a proactive security measures in the state capital.

He further appealed to the people of  the state  continue to support the security agencies and provide necessary Information especially as regards to the presidential visit.

He qually advised  youths to conduct themselves in a peaceful manner. He also advised them to avoid thuggery activities and misconduct.
