NUJ Chairman Receives a Souvenir from the military in Yobe State

The state chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists ( NUJ),Comrade Rajab Mohammed Ismail has  received a souvenir by the sector 2 commander of the Joint Task Force, North East Operation Hadin Kai, Brigadier General MCE EJIKE.

The event took place today Friday at the NUJ secretariat Damaturu, Yobe State, when the commander paid a courtesy call to the NUJ.

Bregadier Ejike commended the chairman and the rest of media practitioners for their support, foresight, wisdom and professionalism in the discharge of their responsibilities. He said the good initiative of the chairman makes NUJ a family member of the military. He stressed his determination to ensure the survival and continuity of the good relationships

Responding, comrade Rajab Mohammed expressed satisfaction with the synergy between the NUJ and the military, stressing that it will continue.

In attendance were the members of the NUJ State council and seasoned journalists. Similarly top military personnels were seen among the  entourage of the sector 2 Commander.
