The Emir of Tikau, Alhaji Muhammad Abubakar Grema OON is dead. He died as a result of protracted illness.

The Mai Tikau's palace is in Sabon Garin Nangere in Nangere local government, Yobe state. He died at the Yobe State Specialist Hospital Potiskum.

Mai Tikau's palace has given details of his burial arrangement to be held tomorrow Saturday 11/5/2024 by 4:00pm in his palace Sabon Garin Nangere.

Tikau emirate is one of 14 Emirates in the Yobe State Council of Traditional Chiefs, headed by His Royal Highness, the Emir of Fika, Alhaji Muhammadu Abali Ibn Idrissa.
