Gov Buni Condoles with Families of Damaturu Car Crash Victims
Yobe state Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, has condoled with the families of Victims of car crash in Damaturu.
Governor Buni said he was heart broken and devastated with the very sad news of the car crash in Damaturu which claimed some lives, with others injured.
The Governor directed for a full investigation of the accident to establish the remote cause of the unfortunate incident.
"It is very sad, troubling and unfortunate that this accident happened inside a populated area claiming lives of people and many others injured.
"Something must be foundamentally wrong with the driver or the vehicle or both, which must be established to guard against future occurance" he said.
The governor urged motorists to be careful, avoid over speeding, over loading and ensure road worthiness of their vehicles before plying the roads.
He cautioned parents against giving under aged children vehicles, warning that, the full wrath of the law will used on any careless driver who is found wanting.
Buni prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the souls of the deceased persons and grant those injured with speedy recovery.
The governor directed free treatment to all the injured persons.
