Gov. Buni Receives Over 1200 Decamped People From Other Parties In Damaturu

His Excellency the Executive Governor of Yobe state Hon Mai Mala Buni CON ( Chiroman Gujba) has today 15th March 2023 (Wednesday) recieved over 1200 members of PDP, NNPP and SDP who decamped to all progressives congress Party APC.

Recieving the decamped people at the Government House Damaturu, the Governor said APC would continue to recieve supporters of various political parties in to the progressives party for the development of the state.

Represented by his Deputy His Excellency Hon Idi Barde Gubana (Wazirin Fune) who appealed to defectors and their followers to conduct themselves peacefully and within the rule of law during the Governorship and state assembly elections.

He said those who defected to the party would be accorded equal rights with the old members.

Speaking on be half of the decampees, the former chairman SDP Fune Local Government, Alh Saleh Mai Kifi, said they took the crucial decision at the right time, adding that he and his colleagues will work hard for the success of the party in all the 13 wards of Fune Local Government area.

The leadership of the decampees are from Fune, Gulani and Bursari Local Government areas respectively.
