Gov. Buni Flags Off Construction of 34km Road

Yobe State governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni has flagged off the construction of the multimillion Naira, thirty four kilometre Danchuwa-Jajere road that connects three local government areas of the state.

He said  when completed the road is expected to unlock the economic potentials abound in  communities along the corridor.

For the last three decades, the 34-kilometer Danchuwa-Jajere road that connects communities in Potiskum, Fune and Nangere local government areas of Yobe state, has been a nightmare to people along the corridor due to its deplorable condition.

The flagging-off the construction of this strategic road by governor Mai Mala Buni is a dream come true to the benefiting communities after years of suffering.

The construction of Danchuwa-Jajere road with a total contact sum of more than 5.3 billion naira, is expected to be completed in the next 18 months.
